Take a look at our role play work from this term.
In English we focused on Imaginary Worlds. We read the story Fantastic Mr Fox.
The children made masks of their favourite character and then worked in groups to act out some of the scenes. They particularly enjoyed role playing the scene, when Mr Fox's tail got shot off by the farmers.
Things to look forward to this half term
Last half term we were yet again very busy and the children completed some fantastic work.
Here is some of the division work that Willow were doing on number lines. They began practically using cheerios for each group, and progressed to chunking in large groups.
In DT the children found out about Shadufs and how they were used in Ancient Egyptian Times.
They investigated , planned, and created their own. Here are a few.
In English we mummified Barbie dolls as well as each other and created instructions. The children had a lot of fun doing this.
