This week's learning in Year 1

Week beginning: Monday 13th January 2025

Maths

This week in Maths we continue to learn about Place Value. This includes, how to represent the number 20 in different ways and finding the number that is 1 more and 1 less than a given number.

English

This week we are still learning about the story ' The Queen's Hat'. The children have enjoyed all the different places in London the hat flew over! This week we are going to be writing story sentences remembering to use capital letters, finger spaces and full stops.
