**Please remember to bring in the inner tubes of toilet rolls and kitchen rolls for our English lesson on Thursday!
**If you have any spare, old children's magazines lying around at home, please could we have them? We would like to build up our collection of magazines for the children to read.
We made some fantastic rockets out of recyclable materials this week! Well done Lime class!
Our topic for this Autumn half term is...
In Topic we are learning about all different kinds of celebrations! From Diwali to Christmas, this RE based topic will look at how different festivals are celebrated and we will have a go at celebrating some ourselves too! A truly fun and exciting topic.
In English this week we are looking at non-fiction texts (leaflets and posters) and children are going to create their very own Fireworks night safety poster.
In Maths children are continuing to build on their knowledge of addition and subtraction but looking at this skill in the context of money.
PE is on a Monday morning and a Wednesday afternoon and we will need black joggers, a white t-shirt, a black jumper/hoodie and trainers. Please remember to have your PE kit in school for EVERY PE session! Thank you! **New earring advice - please remove earrings before your child has PE. We are no longer allowed to tape earrings.
Homework is set on Fridays and is due in on Wednesdays. If your child doesn't bring their homework in on time, they will miss 5 minutes of their diamond time on a Friday.
Spellings will come home with homework and the test will be done on a Friday morning.
