Autumn Term

Welcome back to Year 2!

We hope you've had a lovely break. We are so excited to start the term with all our lovely children. 

Our topic this term is 'To Infinity and Beyond'. This is all about Space.

Our PE days are:

Outdoor PE - Thursdays

Indoor PE- Fridays

English reading - Man on the Moon by Simon Bartram.

Maths topic - Place Values

Homework Expectations In Year 2 

- Reading every weekday evening

- Spelling practise 3 times a week ready for the spelling test on Friday.

- Times tables practise for a weekly test (Friday)

(The times table test will include 5 mixed questions from either the x2 table, x10 or x5 table. This may include missing number questions and division facts)

This test will be completed in the back of red spelling books.
