The School Day begins at 8:45 am with the doors opening at 8:40. Children come into school for their first session of learning which finishes at 9:00. This first session of the day is vitally important with children reviewing the previous days learning and teaching staff preparing children for the days learning ahead.
A member of senior staff will be situated in each of the two play areas from 8:30 am along with individual class staff being available on their doors.
The School day is divided into five teaching periods. Along with other activities these are as follows:
Session 1: 8:40 am - 9:00 am
Session 2: 9:00 am – 10:00 am
Session 3: 10:00 am -10:50 am
Assembly: 10:50 am - 11:05 am
Break: 11:05 am - 11:20 am
Session 4: 11:20 am -12:20 pm
Lunch: 12:20 pm- 1:15 pm
Afternoon Registration: 1:15 pm - 1:20 pm
Session 5: 1:20 pm – 2:15 pm
Session 6: 2:15 pm- 3:15 pm
Children in Infant Classes also have an afternoon break between approximately 2:15pm and 2:30pm.
School closes at 3:15pm for all children and we ask that Parents wait in the appropriate area for the Children to come out of the School.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
