smileyPE

PE day - Monday

Gross motor skills are a crucial part of your child's development. We work on these skills informally throughout the school day in a range of activities suited to your child's needs and abilities in addition to our weekly PE lessons.

Please send your child to school in the appropriate PE kit, any questions please see a member of the Early Years team.

smileyForest School

Forest School day - Friday

We are really excited to begin our Forest School style session, offering an outdoor, woodland environment where children can problem solve, risk take, learn through sensory play, all whilst supporting the learning of the EYFS curriculum.

Our woodlands area is located on the school grounds and will run for 2 hours on a FRIDAY.

On a Friday, please bring your child in dressed appropriately for woodlands. Please note that they will get muddy! This includes:

- Waterproofs

- Warm clothing

- Wellies

smileyLabelling Clothes

PLEASE label all your child's belongings that come into school.

We will always do our best to return all your child's belongings at the end of the day, but it makes it so much easier and quicker to return it when it is named.

smileyWater Bottles

All children need a named water bottle in school. They will be encouraged to drink this throughout the school day and refill independently.

smileySnack

Children are offered snack every day at our snack area. The children also are offered milk (free until 5 then paid for through the 'cool milk' scheme. We regularly cook with the children.

smileyWellies

We love to see the children playing outside, no matter what the weather! Please bring a pair of wellies to keep in school which the children use throughout the day.

smileyReading Folders

Please make sure reading folders come back into school each day with a signed signature that children have read at home.
